TL;DR: Flightblog stores your flight data exclusively on your device and – if enabled – in your personal iCloud. We do not collect personal data, do not track you, and share nothing with third parties.

2. What data is stored?
Flightblog processes only data you enter yourself or generate by scanning a boarding pass: flight data (date, route, flight number), airline, aircraft type, personal notes. This data is stored exclusively on your device and – if iCloud Sync is enabled – in your personal, encrypted iCloud container.
3. iCloud Synchronisation
If you have iCloud Drive enabled, your flight data syncs automatically with your Apple account – exclusively via Apple’s servers, subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no access to this data.
4. No data collection by us
- No tracking, no analytics tools
- No advertising IDs or user profiles
- No sharing with third parties
- No cookies (in the app)
5. External data sources
On first launch, the app optionally downloads the public OpenFlights database (airports.dat) from GitHub. No personal data is transmitted.
6. Camera access
Only for scanning boarding passes, only at your explicit request. Camera images are not stored or transmitted.
7. This website (flightblog.eu)
The web server technically logs: anonymised IP address, date/time, page accessed, HTTP status code, browser type. Used solely for error analysis, not linked to other data. No Google Analytics.
8. Your rights
Since we do not store personal data about you, most GDPR information rights are not applicable in practice. You can delete your flight data at any time in the app (Settings → Delete all flights).
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as needed. The current version is always available at this URL.
